Click here to watch Team Haraa give us a hip hop low-down on their work: Hip Hip Haraa! 6 weeks in Haraa, it’s been real great Our team so safi, each other we don’t even hate We feel so karibu here, it’s home in our heart Hate to say baadae to our mamas and babas as we depart. We’ve been teaching in the school, the field, store fronts, to anyone who will listen 5 fluids, 4 doors, and 3 ways of transmission On testing day the people came out and our goals we bested, For the only way to know your status is to get tested People dragged out their friends, the whole event was quite grand, The future of Haraa was in their hand Supporting each other even when results were feared, Tuko Pamoja Kuushinda UKIMWI, together we cheered! We taught a bunch, but learned even more, Kupika ugali, kidogo Kiswahili, and walking up hills when you’re sore. Banana, avocado, chapati, milk chai boiled, Like a five star Tanzanian restaurant, we’ve been spoiled. Adventures we’ve had, good chats, many a game, As we leave TZ we know we won’t see the world the same So in rap form, this is a taste of what we’ve done and saw, Always and forever we say Hip Hip Haraa!
