Corrections to the Perinatal Guidelines
On January 22, 2013, changes were made to the Perinatal Guidelines to clarify the infant nevirapine (NVP) dosing recommendations.
In the Postpartum Care—Infant Antiretroviral Prophylaxis section, Table 9. Recommended Neonatal Dosing for Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV was updated to indicate that the NVP prophylaxis doses are presented as the total dose (not mg/kg).
