Risk factors for infection following total joint arthroplasty in rheumatoid arthritis.

CONCLUSION: Steroid doses over 15 mg/day, being underweight and having coronary artery disease were associated with significant increases in the risk of post-arthroplasty infection in rheumatoid arthritis.
