Recommendations for the Management of the Incidental Renal Mass in Adults: Endorsement and Adaptation of the 2017 ACR Incidental Findings Committee White Paper by the Canadian Association of Radiologists Incidental Findings Working Group

Since the publication of the first landmark paper by the American College of Radiology (ACR) Incidental Findings Committee in 2010, that committee has been providing valuable guidance to radiologists throughout the world on how to manage incidental imaging findings [1]. In 2017, the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) received feedback from its membership that there was a need for a Canada-specific set of incidental findings guidelines which would acknowledge the unique distribution of imaging modalities and resource limitations that radiologists in this country face.
