Patient perceptions on the effectiveness of preconception counseling

ConclusionThis study suggests that PC increases patient confidence in their own knowledge regarding pregnancy. Patients who do not go through PC tend to see the experience as less valuable than those who do. Additional study with a larger sample size is needed to see if these trends are significant.
