After 5 months of alignment and leveling, anterior retraction was performed for 21 months. Final detailing took five months. The appliances were removed 31 months after the start of treatment. With these multi-slotted lingual brackets, treatment progressed in the simplest and most effective way and board-standard finishes were achieved. Furthermore, the use of preformed lingual straight archwires (PLSWs) allowed much more convenient treatment application.
