Orthopaedic Trauma Association Request for Proposals on the Directed Topic Study: Augmented Fixation for Pelvic and Extremity Fragility Fractures Pre-Proposal submission deadline: February 16, 2015 The Orthopaedic Trauma Association is accepting grant proposals from OTA International Members on the Directed Topic: Augmented Fixation for Pelvic and Extremity Fragility Fractures. Eligibility The Principal Investigator must be a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association outside of North America and the research must be conducted outside of North America. Funding Total funding is $50,000 covering direct costs with $25,000/year maximum for a total of $50,000 over a two-year funding cycle. Funding cycle: January 1, 2016–December 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017–December 31, 2017; No salary support will be allowed for participating investigators; Appropriate funds (at least $2500) must be allocated from the grant award to present the data at the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting the year after research is concluded.
