FNDC5/Irisin inhibits pathological cardiac hypertrophy
In conclusion, we find irisin is secreted in an ADAM family dependent manner, and irisin treatment improves cardiac function and attenuates pressure overload-induced cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis mainly through regulating AMPK-mTOR signaling.
