Antibacterial Potential of Edible Vegetables and Fruits Extracts against Oral Pathogen of Enterococcus faecalis ATCC29212: An in vitro study
Conclusion: Kemangi leaf (Ocimum basilicum L.) and Strawberry (Fragaria xananasa) were found active and possess active antibacterial flavonoid against E. faecalis. These findings may support the use of edible plants in herbal medicine and as a baseline for the development of new drugs and phytomedicine for pathogenic oral diseases.
