Updates to Adult and Adolescent Opportunistic Infections Guidelines Released
Updates to the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in HIV-Infected Adults and Adolescents were released on October 28, 2014. The updates affect the following sections:
Pneumocystis Pneumonia
Bacterial Enteric Infections
Mucocutaneous Candidiasis
Hepatitis C Virus Infection
Table: Prophylaxis to Prevent First Episode of Opportunistic Disease
Table: Treatment of AIDS-Associated Opportunistic Infections
Table: Opportunistic Infection Drugs in Pregnancy
