Surgery for Pulmonary Fungal Infections Complicating Hematological Malignancies.
Conclusion: Pulmonary fungal infections are resistant to treatments for hematological malignancies. Since the treatment of the underlying disease is extended and these infections often recur and are exacerbated, surgery should be considered when possible.
