ConclusionMaintaining skin-to-skin contact for infants of mothers with diet-treated GDM, monitoring blood glucose levels until obtaining two values> 2.4 mmol/l and encouraging early frequent breastfeeding is a safe strategy to prevent hypoglycemia.
