The biological time calendar

Publication date: April–June 2014 Source:Biomedicine & Aging Pathology, Volume 4, Issue 2 Author(s): Huynh Thien Duc Time passing drives all living organismes to cellular decline with age-associated dysfuntion, diseases and death. It appeared now that ageing like any biological process is surceptible to regulation. Environmental factors such as stimuli/stresses as well as endogenous factors, i.e., expression and mutation of some particular genes might act as the main regulators. Psychological factors as a human specific dimension could contribute in delaying the senescence decline.
