Neutrophilia and hyperamylasemia in patients with immediate food allergy
ConclusionsThis study first revealed marked neutrophilia after OFC in patients with immediate FA showing gastrointestinal symptoms, which may provide a new insight into the relationship between symptoms and laboratory data. A considerable increase in the serum amylase level after OFC was also shown here in patients with immediate FA, suggesting that the pancreas is a target organ for immediate FA.This article is protected by copyright.
