Climate-Change Impact on Insects ' Simply Cannot be Ignored '

Annapolis, MD; October 29, 2018 —In response to a new study in theProceedings of the National Academy of Sciencesthat documents remarkable declines in tropical arthropod abundance in Puerto Rico due to climate change,  Entomological Society of America President Michael Parrella, Ph.D., explains why entomologists are increasingly concerned by mounting evidence that climate change is claiming many insect victims—and why all of us should be concerned.
