Understanding the All of Us Research Program: A Dialogue with Dara Richardson-Heron, MD

The All of Us Research Program, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. It is a key element of the Precision Medicine Initiative at NIH. The mission of the All of Us Research Program is to accelerate health research and medical breakthroughs, enabling individualized prevention, treatment, and care for all of us. All of Us is committed to including populations that are historically under-represented in biomedical research, so that the knowledge and advances gleaned from this project benefit all.
