Acute effect of primary PCI on diastolic dysfunction recovery in anterior wall STEMI – A non-invasive evaluation by echocardiography

ConclusionsPrimary PCI improves diastolic dysfunction in patients with anterior wall STEMI over a period of 6 months. Time to achieve reperfusion and effectiveness of reperfusion have significant effect on diastolic dysfunction.
