Open transcervical fracture of femur resulted from gunshot injury: A case report

We report a case of open transcervical fracture of right femur resulting from a GSI. The management of GSIs, including the classification of these injuries, corresponding fracture and soft tissue management, the indications of bullet removal and antibiotics use will be discussed.摘要槍傷在香港是罕見的，而我們同時缺乏處理槍傷骨折的經驗。對於槍傷骨折的分類和處理方法，至今仍缺乏受廣泛認可的指引。本文報告一宗槍傷導致開放性右股骨頸骨折的個案，並討論有關槍傷的處理及治療方法，包括槍傷分類、骨折跟軟組織受傷的處理、子彈碎片取出的適應症和抗生素的採用。
