A full-body 3D reconstruction of yoga poses through inertial sensing

Introduction: Yoga has recently gained popularity as a way of promoting physical and mental well-being, mainly associated with physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation [1]. The correct execution of yoga exercises is crucial for both their effectiveness and safety [1]. In this respect, the development of tools, such as exergames, that can guide practitioners in learning correct yoga postures, and possibly provide real-time feedback about performance in daily life environments, would be of great benefit for all practitioners and, particularly, for beginners [2].
