Profile of drug resistance mutations in nucleos(t)ide analogue-experienced chronic hepatitis B patients in Tianjin, China
We read with great interest the recent study by Guo et al. [1] in this journal aimed at evaluating the dynamic changes in the mutation patterns of hepatitis B virus (HBV) resistance to nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) in North China. However, the profile of HBV resistance mutations against NAs in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) infection in Tianjin, the biggest coastal city in northern China with a population of more than 14 million, is still largely unknown. Therefore, we wish to contribute by reporting the drug resistance mutations in NA-experienced CHB patients in Tianjin, China.
