Easing into change

Although dental practitioners know a great deal about how to promote better oral health in older adults, how to prescribe antibiotics more appropriately, or other relevant dental topics, there is no guarantee that this knowledge will be used to enact improved care delivery. The problems associated with adopting evidence into practice in dentistry were explored, along with ways to achieve knowledge transfer.
