Validation of a High-End Virtual Reality Simulator for Training Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumors
The oncological outcome in patients with bladder cancer (BC) significantly correlates with the quality of transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TUR-BT). Virtual reality (VR) training simulators have been developed to improve surgical skills. We evaluated the advantages and limitations of the novel Uro Trainer (UT) (Karl Storz GmbH, Germany) with respect to training for TUR-BT.
