International multi-center validation of an intermediate-risk subclassification of prostate cancer treated with radical treatment without hormone therapy
The NCCN guidelines recently endorsed a subclassification of intermediate-risk prostate cancer (IR-PCa) into favourable (FIR) and unfavourable (UIR) subgroups. However, this subclassification was developed in a treatment-heterogeneous cohort, hence the natural history of androgen deprivation treatment (ADT)-na ïve FIR- and UIR-PCa remains unknown.
