Comments on the article “The prognostic significance of preoperative neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma receiving hepatectomy: a systematic review and meta-analysis”

We read with great interest the systematic review and meta-analysis entitled “The prognostic significance of preoperative neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma receiving hepatectomy: a systematic review and meta-analysis” [1] by Wang et al. They found the preoperative Neutrophil-Lymphocyte ratio (NLR) was significantly associated with the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma patients after surgery.
