A comparison of the interviewer-administered phone and self-complete online versions of the computerised eMINI 6.0 in a sample of pregnant women

Computerised versions of structured interviews for mental health disorders offer a potentially cost-effective, standardised approach to data collection for research and clinical practice. A number of computerised psychiatric interviews, including the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI-Auto) (WHO 1997), Clinical Interview Schedule – Revised (CIS-R) (Lewis et al. 1988) and the M.I.N.I. International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) (Sheehan 1998), can be self-administered by patients or research participants.
