This Month in Pediatric Urology

In this issue of The Journal is an article about the practical aspects of managing the postoperative care of patients who have undergone a complex reconstructive operation, stressing the importance of approaching these patients in a consistent manner to help increase the likelihood of a smooth recovery. The other article in this issue focuses on a rare condition that afflicts only a few hundred patients but the neurourological manifestations suggest that what may be a confusing array of symptoms are traceable to a common root dysfunction in the pontine region of the brainstem.
