Effect of Helicobacter pylori on insulin resistance in nonobese, nondiabetic, and normolipidemic Egyptian patients
Conclusion
H. pylori infection has a positive effect on the NAFLD score and the HOMA-IR with older age, even after removing confounders of hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and obesity from the equation, but this needs further confirmation by a wide-scale studies.
