Is there a difference in quality of life after mastectomy compared to breast conserving surgery?

Aim: This review aims to assess relevant literature that measure the differences in QoL after Mastectomy (ME) compared to Breast conserving surgery (BCS), using 2 evaluation tools; the EORTC QLQ-C30/EORTC QLQ-BR23 or the FACT-B. The relevance of patient demographics and clinical characteristics will also be assessed.
