Appendiceal adenocarcinoma - Two unique cases of adenocarcinoma ex-goblet cell carcinoid
Neoplasms of the appendix are rare; the incidence is ∼1% of all appendicectomy specimens and 0.5% of intestinal neoplasms(1). Carcinoid tumours are the most common, comprising>50% of appendiceal neoplasms. Five year survival is 73-84%(2).
