Choledochoduodenal fistula presenting with upper gastrointestinal bleeding in a patient with a history of laparoscopic cholecystectomy – A case report
We report a case of a choledochoduodenal fistula that was diagnosed at endoscopy performed for upper gastrointestinal bleeding. A 71-year-old female with a history of laparoscopic cholecystectomy 10 years earlier was admitted following a fall. A recent CT scan had diagnosed new biliary dilatation, for which she was awaiting endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP) and biliary stenting.
