Compliance of randomised controlled trials in general surgical journals with the CONSORT 2010 statement: A retrospective cohort study and review of the literature

Aim: We investigated the compliance of surgical randomised controlled trials (RCTs) in the five highest impact factor General Surgical journals to identify where trial reporting could be improved.
