Development of pan-speciality collaborative research networks: Idea generation

Aim: Trainee research collaborative networks have revolutionised the way clinical research is undertaken. The North East has three trainee collaboratives; CORNET (Trauma& Orthopaedics), INCARNNET (Intensive Care& Anaesthetics) and NoSTRA (General Surgery). These collaboratives have come together as a pan-specialty network to identify and develop important clinical research questions common to all three specialties.
