A Multidisciplinary Team Approach to an Adopted Child with Psychosocial Dwarfism: A Case Report

As the first report of 13 children with a short stature with reversible growth hormone deficiency, hyperphagic behavior, and emotional deprivation1, a series of case reports and case-control studies have been published in Western countries on psychosocial dwarfism, hyperphagic short stature, Kaspar Hauser syndrome, abuse dwarfism syndrome, and psychosocial short stature.2 –4
