O 090 - Does the Powers ™ strap modify lower limb biomechanics during running in individuals with patellofemoral pain?

Abnormal biomechanics, especially dynamic knee valgus, a combination of femoral adduction, femoral internal rotation, external knee rotation, tibial abduction, and ankle eversion is known to be associated with patellofemoral pain (PFP) [1 –3]. To stabilise the patellofemoral joint during leisure and sporting activities by increasing the hip external rotation and hip abduction, researchers in the USA invented the Powers™ strap.
