P 072 - Describing the influences of using insoles on gait parameters in children with increased femoral anteversion and pes-planovalgus: plot study

Increased femoral anteversion (IFA) is a transverse plane problem that may lead to alterations on lower body kinematics during walking [1,2]. Internal tibial and femoral torsion increase internal rotatory force on the talus which may cause pes-planovalgus (PPV)[3]. Considering the high correlation between IFA and PPV, supporting accurate foot posture with insole might make improvement on IFA individuals [4]. There is no study analyzing kinematic influences of insole on walking of children with IFA and PPV.
