Drug-resistant epilepsy development following stem cell transplant and cyclosporine neurotoxicity induced seizures: Case report in an adult and analysis of reported cases in the literature

ConclusionsThe use of cyclosporine for GvHD prophylaxis and treatment following transplantation may cause seizures and be associated with DRE. Although discontinuation and dose decrease of CSA often reverse adverse neurological events, initial CSA-induced seizures may be associated with MTS that and subsequent greater risk of DRE development.
