The dominant mode of microbial life is given by the formation of biofilm in which microorganisms will be found in an organized community, adhered to a biotic or abiotic surface and embedded in extracellular polymeric matrix [1]. Biofilm formation is an important public health problem because they represent the majority of infections in humans [2,3].
