ConclusionA combination of 2Dand 3D-US has considerable advantage over 2D-US in the diagnosis of fetal ACC. 3D-US provides an invaluable tool for the prenatal diagnosis and management of ACC, and its offline networking capabilities may improve healthcare delivery systems by extending the benefits of prenatal diagnosis of cerebral malformations to poorly served areas where an MRI is not available.
