Awesome piece on immigration in the healthcare workforce. So thoughtful and sensible. We have long had a bias in graduate medical education that a high proportion of non-US grads was a marker of a poor program. Around 50% of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents are non-US grads, which is a pretty significant contribution to our residency programs.
