Effects of the Japanese diet in combination with exercise on visceral fat accumulation

The average life expectancy of the Japanese population continues to increase, and Japan has been known for its healthy longevity since becoming the country with the longest life expectancy in the world in the 1980 ′s [1]. This is partly due to the influence of the Japanese diet, which has less fat and calories than the Western diet, and contains a lot of seafood and vegetables. The components of the Japanese diet have been widely studied, but there is little research on the influence of the diet itself on h ealth.
