Cervical disc arthroplasty: Review and update for radiologists

An increasing number of cervical artificial discs are being implanted in the United States. Successful imaging evaluation of preoperative cervical disc arthroplasty candidates and postoperative patients requires an understanding of patient selection criteria, hardware design, and imaging appearances of normal hardware and the spectrum of postoperative complications.
