Risk score for early prediction of invasive cancer of BD-IPMN according to morphological characterization in EUS in patients who underwent to pancreatic surgery
Objectives The management of Branch-Duct Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms (BD-IPMN) is determined by a number of guidelines, which advocate a series of criteria for deciding on the handling such as “worrisome features” and “high-risk stigmata”. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is considered one of the most effective diagnostic techniques due to its accuracy in the morphological diagnosis. Aim:To develop a risk score for early prediction of invasive cancer of BD-IPMN according to morphologic al characterization in EUS, using the surgical specimens as gold standard
