Comparative analysis of Circulating Tumour Cells detection and circulating tumor DNA in liquid biopsy for the diagnosis of early stage pancreatic adenocarcinoma

Objectives Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) survival can reach 20% when surgery is possible. If patients present locally advance disease, it is crucial to quickly establish resectability .However, when the cancer is suspected, chemoradiotherapies are often delayed because the mandatory histologic proof is difficult to make with non-informative biopsies. Searching for tumour elements in body fluids might provide valuable diagnosis assistance.
