Determinants of length of hospital stay in mild acute pancreatitis
Objectives Acute pancreatitis is one of the most frequent causes of hospitalization related to gastrointestinal pathology. Therefore, it constitutes an important area of hospital spending, directly related to the length of hospital stay. In most cases it has a mild course, without local or systemic complications and with self-limited pain. Our target was to analyze factors related to hospital stay in patients with mild acute pancreatitis (MAP).
