The prevalence of acute and chronic pancreatitis in Polish children
Objectives Acute (AP) and chronic pancreatitis (CP) are rare entities in children. The prevalence of AP among children is estimated for 2-13/100.000 per year, and there are no reliable data concerning CP. To date, there were no studies investigating the morbidity and prevalence of pancreatic diseases among Polish children, therefore we aimed to analyze that issue.
