Objectives Environmental factors in connection with genetic factors play an important role in the development of pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. The aim of the study was the DNA sequences analysis of CPA1 gene to identification of specific sites correlating with pancreatic cancer (PC) and acute pancreatitis (AP).
