Diagnostic efficacy of liquid-based cytology in endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration for solid pancreas lesion: Single academic institution experience
Objectives Liquid-based cytology (LBC) has been proved to be effective for the cytopathological evaluation of several malignancies. However, its role in endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) is not fully established yet, especially when rapid on-site evaluation(ROSE) is not available. Therefore, we investigate the diagnostic efficacy of LBC for specimens obtained by EUS-FNA.
