Reappraisal of main pancreatic duct in IPMN under surveillance: dilatation alone is not an absolute indication for surgery

Objectives The correlation between the risk of pancreatic cancer (PC) and a dilated main pancreatic duct (MPD) in IPMNs is a matter of debate. The aim of this study was to assess the role of MPD size in predicting PC in a large cohort of both resected and surveilled IPMNs.
