Perineural Invasion in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma
Objectives Perineural Invasion (PNI), the pathological identification of cancer cells along nerves, is highly prevalent in pancreatic ductal cancer (PDAC) and is associated with recurrence, pain and metastasis. In this project we sought to characterize PNI pathological and molecular features to develop novel therapeutical approaches.
