Objectives Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (eCC) represent two of the most lethal cancer entities. Cancer stem cells (CSCs) have been identified as crucial for tumor growth, metastasis, chemoresistance and thus represent a potential therapeutic target.
